Valley Christian Academy Daily Classroom Schedule 

  • Classes begin each day at 8AM and dismiss at 3PM.

  • Each school day begins with school-wide pledges and prayer.

 
 

Academics

  • Each teacher has a daily schedule specific to his or her grade level.

  • Mornings are generally devoted to English/Language Arts and Bible Study.

  • Math, science, and social studies are generally taught after lunch.

  • Cultural Enrichment Studies are completed quarterly.

Lunch

  • Lunch for Pre-K3 and Pre- K4 is from 10:30AM to 11:00AM

  • Lunch for Kindergarten - 2nd Grade is from 11:00AM to 11:30AM

  • Lunch for 3rd- 4th Grade is from 11:30AM to 12:00PM

  • Lunch for 5th- High School is from 12:00PM to 12:30PM

  • We are proud to serve 3 healthy hot meals per week

Recess

  • All students have daily scheduled recess.

Specials

  • Students attend specials class each day in one of the following categories:

    • Art Appreciation, Music Studies, Life Essentials, and PE. Spanish and Archery for 5th-8th Grades only.

    • Fishing Team coming soon!

    • Friday is Chapel day. Chapel service begins at 8:15AM each Friday morning and parents/guardians are welcome to attend.

In addition to daily recess, physical education opportunities are afforded through quarterly clubs and special events such as swimming and bowling.
