Heather Lattimore
8th Grade Bible & Art Teacher
Heather has been an educator in the public schools and at home with her children for over 14 years. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of TN Knoxville with a concentration in Art Education and Ceramics as well as a Master’s of Science in Education. While at UTK, she also studied Elementary Education.
Heather has taught in elementary schools in Knox County and Athens City, as well as at the high school level at Walker Valley High School in Bradley County. She also homeschooled her two children in their elementary grades, Isabel and Isaac, who are now students at VCA. Through personal study, Heather has implemented teaching methods in her home that focus on good literature, hands-on learning, and a Christian worldview for all subjects.
Heather, along with her husband, Jon, and their children enjoy traveling for leisure and missions. Her family has traveled to Nicaragua for several mission trips and served in Washington, DC as well. The Lattimore family have been members of Eastanallee Baptist Church since 2014.
